Mr. Zerbino worked for 24 years with BankBoston. He started his career in Boston and subsequently moved to New York responsible for the global relationship of a number of the Fortune 500 companies during the 1980s.

Later he was named General Manager of BankBoston Uruguay, expanding the Bank’s business beyond traditional corporate banking into retail and small business, establishing the Bank as one of the leading brands in the country.

Subsequently, he assumed responsibility for the International Corporate Finance area, in Boston, financing the expansion of Multinational Companies in Latin America. In 1995 he moved to Buenos Aires to manage the Bank’s Corporate Banking Business in Argentina, expanding the Bank’s participation in Investment Banking and positioning the Bank as a leader in the loan syndication market and as one of the principal Small Business banks in the country.

During his last two years, he became COO of the $9 billion 4,500 employee institution and also assumed responsibility for the Retail Business and BancBoston Capital –Argentina, the bank’s venture capital firm. During this period he also had management responsibility for the Andean Region, including Peru, Colombia and Panama.

Throughout his career Mr. Zerbino was co-founder of Bancomat the ATM network in Uruguay, the Uruguayan Electronic stock exchange and Junior Achievement Uruguay. Mr. Zerbino received his BA in Economics and Political Science from Williams College and an MBA from Boston University.
